Performance of Crucial 128GB SSD:



Items to note:
1. The WD Raptor transfer performance degrades while the SSD is consistent across the entire test.
2. The burst rates are very close.
3. The access time hands down goes to the SSD.  .1 ms vs 8.5 ms for the WD Raptor. 

Not all SSDs are created the same.  The one from Crucial.com actually has one of the fastest transfer rates I have seen.
